Gibbs, Maggie Ray, 71, a resident of Silver City, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 25,
2010 at her home. She was born on June 1, 1938 in Portales, NM to William James and
Netha (Clark) Hodges.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Gibbs of Silver City; one son, James B. Allison
and partner Debbie Greenwood of Potlatch, Idaho; two brothers, William "Teet" T. Hodges
and wife Vicky of Roswell, New Mexico and Harold Wayne "Winky" Hodges and wife Melody
of Portales, New Mexico; two sisters, Geraldine Graves and husband Richard of Idaho, and
Lena Goff of Ft. Worth, Texas; two grandchildren, Carrie Perrault and husband Matthew of
San Miguel, New Mexico and Charlie Ann Mendonca and husband Adam of Ruidoso, New
Mexico; and seven great-grandchildren, Shaylynn, Faith, Mattison, Levi, Hannah, Elisha and
Dakota.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William James and Netha (Clark) Hodges; two
sons, Kelly Allison and Lyndal Allison; numerous half sisters and one half brother.
The visitation will be held on Saturday, March 27,2010 at Indian Hills Baptist Church from
10:00am - 11:00am with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am and Pastor Michael
Head officiating. Pallbearers are R.L. Chandler, Matthew Perrault and Adam Mendonca.
Cremation will take place after the service.
